The UCB stand-up workshop covers premise writing, joke structure, and delivery technique in a hands-on session where every participant writes and performs material in front of the group. The instructor is a working comedian with television credits who gives direct feedback on each student's set, focusing on what is specifically funny about their natural voice rather than teaching a single formula. Students leave with written material they have already performed once.
