Guided by a trained perfumer in a French Quarter fragrance atelier, students test and select from over 300 raw aromatic oils organized by their olfactory family, citrus, floral, woody, spicy, oriental, and learn the top-middle-base structure that gives a great fragrance its arc and longevity on the skin. Working in small groups, each student blends their selections into a unique formula, receives feedback on balance and projection, and adjusts the ratios before the final scent is bottled, labeled, and documented in a personal workbook they take home. Participants also receive a VIP gift bag with sample products from the studio so they can continue exploring fragrance beyond the day's class.
