About this class

This certification course teaches you to safely belay a top-rope climber using an ATC-style device, covering device operation, communication commands, catching falls, and lowering. You get practical testing time on the actual walls with a live climber before being assessed, and passing the assessment earns you a belay card that grants independent access to all top-rope routes at the gym. Day pass included.
