This is a 3-week intensive with two class sessions per week (6 sessions total, 9 hours). Both sessions per week are required to follow the structured progression.
The Tango Company's beginner intensive compresses nine hours of Argentine tango fundamentals into three weeks of twice-weekly classes, covering the close embrace, basic walking technique, pauses, and simple turns in a structured progression. Classes run twice weekly so the material stays fresh between sessions, and both individual and couple sign-ups are welcome with no partner required. The school has been running this program since 2004 and is led by director Carlos Cañedo with a curriculum consistently praised for its clarity and pacing.
