Create a hand-etched copper or zinc plate image using hard ground, acid biting, and aquatint techniques before inking it and pulling prints on the studio's etching press. The instructor explains the chemistry of acid biting, how to control line depth, and how to get soft tonal values through aquatint rather than line hatching. You pull at least six prints from your finished plate.
