Raku Night at North Shore Arts Center in the historic Waialua Sugar Mill is an all-evening event where participants hand-glaze a pre-made ceramic piece and watch it go through the dramatic raku firing process outdoors. The fast-fire technique produces unpredictable metallic and carbon flashing on the glaze surface, making every piece one of a kind. First-timers can also try open wheel throwing while waiting for their piece to cool.
