Pan Theater's Improv Dojo is a two-hour drop-in improv class that has run continuously in Oakland since 2002, covering scenes, short-form games, and group warm-up exercises in a format designed so that students at any level — complete beginners through performers with stage experience — can work together productively in the same session. The class is led by a Pan Theater instructor and runs at 120 Frank Ogawa Plaza in downtown Oakland, close to multiple BART lines. The first session is free for new students; regular drop-in rate is $20.
