Hickory Clay's beginner wheel throwing course runs eight weeks and is taught by working ceramic artists in a small-group setting above 16th Street in the Mission. Across the run you learn centering, throwing cylinders and bowls, trimming, and glazing, and you keep the pieces you fire. This is a multi-session course and all clay, glazes, and firing are included.
