Beginner Wheel Throwing

Get your hands on clay from the first minute of this beginner wheel class, learning to center, open, and pull up the walls of a simple cylinder while the instructor watches and corrects hand position in real time. The goal is not perfection but understanding how the clay responds to different pressures and speeds so you can start troubleshooting your own mistakes. You throw four pieces during the session and choose your two favorites to be bisque fired.
