Lead climbing is the next skill after top-rope and this class teaches the rope clipping technique, how to fall safely on a lead, and how to read a sport climbing route from the ground to plan clip sequences. The instructor covers the specific differences between top-rope and lead fall physics before you practice on the wall at a low height. Students must already have a valid belay certification to attend.
