Anubis Improv's weekend crash course compresses a full semester of improv fundamentals into a single intensive Saturday or Sunday session, covering agreement, listening, character, environment, and scene structure through non-stop exercises and scene work with coaching in between rounds. Students who take the crash course leave with a strong understanding of what improv is and the practical skills needed to join a regular class at the intermediate level or begin performing with a casual ensemble. The format is especially popular with out-of-town visitors and busy locals who cannot commit to a weekly course.
