Nashville Salsa Dancing's monthly Open House is a free one-hour introduction to salsa for anyone who has never tried partner dancing before. The session covers the basic On2 step, how to connect with a partner in a social dance hold, and a few simple patterns to practice at a social dance. No partner is needed and no prior experience is expected. The Open House is a no-pressure way to get a feel for the studio, meet the instructors, and decide whether the Foundations series is the right next step. The studio hosts Open House events most months; this session runs on a Sunday afternoon in September.
