Each Saturday session spotlights a specific wine region, covering the geography, grape varieties, and winemaking style that define it through a tasting of six representative bottles. Past sessions have covered the Loire Valley, the Rhone, Willamette Valley, and the Sierra Foothills, with the instructor drawing connections between the region's climate, soil, and the wines in your glass. The format is casual and conversational, and no prior wine knowledge is assumed.
