About this class
Maketto's H Street location has always been about the overlap between Cambodian and Taiwanese food cultures, and this cooking class explores the street food traditions that define both. You learn to make two or three dishes from scratch, working at your own station with ingredients sourced the same way the restaurant does, and the instructor shares the backstory of each dish alongside the technique. The meal at the end of class is often better than anything you can order at a restaurant.
