Grub Street Writers runs a Monday evening drop-in workshop in downtown Boston covering a specific aspect of craft, such as scene construction, dialogue, point of view, or writing beginnings, through a brief teaching component followed by a timed writing exercise and small-group response. Grub Street is one of the largest independent creative writing centers in the US and their drop-in workshops are attended by writers at all levels from beginners trying fiction for the first time to published authors working on new projects. No prior work or assignment is required.
