This Saturday workshop at Photographic Center Northwest introduces cyanotype, a camera-less printing process that creates blue-toned photograms on fabric and paper using UV light. Students prepare their own sensitized surfaces, create photograms using objects and transparencies, and wash and dry the prints in the studio. The class also briefly covers van Dyke brown and gum bichromate as additional historic alternatives.
