Mudflat Studio runs a Monday evening wheel throwing class at their Somerville location for adults at the beginner through intermediate levels, covering centering, opening, and pulling walls to make a functional vessel such as a cup or small bowl in each two-hour session. Participants work at individual wheels with clay provided and the instructor circulates to offer hands-on guidance and technique corrections throughout. Glazing and firing of finished pieces are included in the class fee.
