The Compound Gallery's letterpress workshop puts students at a vintage press with a collection of wood and metal type to design, set, ink, and print their own original poster during a four-hour Sunday session. Instructors cover typesetting fundamentals, ink mixing, impression adjustment, and registration so every run of the press is intentional and students understand why each choice affects the print. All materials are included in the $120 fee and participants print as many posters as they want to take home before the session ends.
