This eight-session beginner series at Vortex Pottery walks you through all the fundamentals of wheel throwing, from wedging and centering clay to pulling cylinders, shaping bowls, and understanding how to glaze and fire your work. Enrolled students gain 24/7 studio access throughout the session so you can practice between class meetings and develop real skill rather than just repeating the same motions. The studio in Lower Queen Anne provides all clay and tools, and instructors work closely with each student to address individual technique questions.
