Makeville Studio's cutting board class covers how to select and joint lumber, cut a glue-up pattern, clamp and flatten the panel, and finish the surface with food-safe mineral oil over a three-hour Thursday evening session. You leave with a full-size cutting board you made from scratch and a good understanding of how edge-grain and end-grain construction differ. All materials, tools, and safety instruction are included and no woodworking experience is needed.
