The Hideout Theatre's Level 1 improv class is a six-week foundation course that teaches the core principles of long-form improvisation, including agreement, active listening, and character work. Classes meet weekly and progress through the fundamentals of scene initiation, support, and comedic timing in a small-group environment with a professional instructor. No prior acting or improv experience is required, and all are welcome to start the curriculum from the beginning.
