Plein Air Painting Outing

About this class

The Charleston Artist Guild organizes plein air outings to paint outdoors at historic Charleston locations, from the Battery waterfront to neighborhood gardens and Lowcountry marsh scenes. Participants work in their preferred medium - oil, watercolor, acrylic, or pastel - while experienced members provide encouragement and on-the-spot technique advice. It is a wonderful way to practice observational painting while exploring the city alongside fellow artists.
