This after-work edition of First Ascent's flagship beginner climbing class is designed for Loop-area professionals who want an efficient introduction to bouldering on a weeknight without taking time away from the workday. A skilled instructor covers the complete fundamentals including safety protocol, foot placement technique, and how to read a bouldering problem before guiding participants through increasingly challenging climbs across the gym's 10,000-square-foot wall. The $29 fee covers a session pass and all rental gear, so participants need nothing more than athletic shoes to get started.
