Raku Firing Workshop

About this class

Raku is a fast, dramatic firing process where pots go from kiln to fire reduction in minutes, producing metallic and crackle finishes that are impossible to achieve any other way. You hand build or throw your piece in the morning, then the afternoon is dedicated to the firing itself, including pulling glowing-hot work from the kiln and placing it into reduction chambers. The workshop runs on select Saturdays and results in genuinely one-of-a-kind finished pieces.
