This 90-minute session uses a structured blind tasting of six wines to teach the core vocabulary and technique for identifying grape variety, region, and quality level. Instructors explain the structural elements of wine, including tannin, acidity, and alcohol, using the wines in front of you as examples rather than abstract concepts. Students leave with a tasting grid and a practical framework they can apply the next time they open a bottle.
