Composition Workshop: Seeing Like a Photographer

Good composition is the skill that separates average snapshots from photographs that hold attention, and it is entirely learnable. This workshop teaches the major compositional strategies: rule of thirds, leading lines, foreground interest, framing within the frame, and negative space. You shoot during two outdoor exercises in Harvard Square and review your best images with the instructor at the end of the session.
