Mess Hall Arts in Minneapolis runs watercolor painting workshops for adults with a relaxed, experiment-friendly atmosphere that focuses on the pleasure of the medium over achieving a perfect result. Each session introduces a core watercolor technique - wet on wet, color gradients, negative painting - through a short demo before students apply the technique to their own composition with coaching from the instructor. All materials are provided and you leave with one or more finished paintings on proper watercolor paper.
