Copper is an ideal metal for learning jewelry techniques because it behaves like precious metal but costs far less, and this workshop uses it to teach you to cut, shape, and texture a cuff bracelet from a flat sheet. You work with jeweler's saw, files, and forming hammers to create a finished wearable piece, and add a surface texture using a chasing hammer or stamps. The cuff is buffed and polished before you leave.
