Guided Pottery Class

About this class

A three-hour guided class for adults of any skill level taught by ceramic artist Karin Burt in the calm, gallery-like atmosphere of her Marigny studio on Royal Street. The session covers centering, opening, and coaxing clay into cylindrical and bowl forms, with Karin providing direct physical demonstrations and hands-on corrections rather than stepping back and letting students muddle through alone. All clay, tools, glazing materials, and firing costs are included so participants can arrive knowing they only need to bring their hands and willingness to get messy.
