About this class
The technical side of boxing is the focus of this beginner class, which covers stance, footwork patterns, straight punches, hooks, uppercuts, and slipping and rolling to avoid punches. Students drill on the heavy bag and work with partners on focus mitts to practice applying each technique in a live format. The gym treats boxing as a martial art with real depth and the instruction reflects that seriousness from the first class.
