Wax Carving for Cast Jewelry

Use jeweler's wax to carve and sculpt a ring or small pendant that will be cast into sterling silver using the lost-wax casting process. The instructor at Richmond Art Center walks you through wax working tools, carving techniques, and the steps your piece will go through in the casting process. You will leave with a carved wax model ready for casting, and the finished silver piece is returned to you at a follow-up session.
