Ostwald Workshops in West Oakland runs a Tuesday jewelry workshop where jeweler Peter Ostwald teaches torch soldering and basic stone setting at a proper jeweler's bench in a small group. You work hands-on with professional tools to build a finished piece while the instructor gives close individual feedback. All tools and materials are provided and the studio is near the West Oakland BART station.
