In this two-part Saturday ceramics class at fishschool, instructor Forest Leonard teaches you how to roll flat slabs of clay and construct them into vase forms using score-and-slip joining techniques. The workshop covers surface decoration and texture work in the first session, then glaze application in the second, so you leave with a finished fired piece that is ready to use. No previous pottery experience is required and all tools, clay, and firings are included.
