First Class Cooking's knife skills class in the SoMa loft studio covers grip, stance, and the five core cuts, dice, brunoise, chiffonade, julienne, and rough chopping, as you work through a prep menu that produces a finished dish at the end of the session. Chef Emily Dellas teaches each technique at your own station so you practice on real ingredients rather than watching from across the room. All produce, knives, and kitchen equipment are provided and the group eats together at the end.
