About this class
A bezel setting holds a gemstone in place using a thin wall of metal that wraps around and over the stone's edge, and this workshop teaches you to build one from sterling silver wire and tube. You form the bezel to fit a provided cabochon, solder it to a backing plate, and burnish the bezel wall down over the stone using a burnishing tool. You leave with a finished pendant on a sterling chain.
