An open life drawing session with a live model held at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts on Monday afternoons, open to adult students of all drawing levels who want regular practice working from observation in a professional studio setting. An instructor is present throughout to offer optional guidance on proportion, gesture, and mark-making to anyone who wants feedback, while students who prefer to work independently are equally welcome to draw at their own pace without intervention. All drawing media are welcome and the studio provides easels and drawing boards, so participants only need to bring their own paper and drawing tools.
