Salsa for Beginners

Phoenix Salsa Dance's Wednesday beginner class covers the basic salsa step, timing on clave, leading and following technique, and a handful of turn patterns in a 60-minute group session that requires no partner and no prior dance experience. The instructors are patient and the environment is welcoming, with enough repetition that students leave feeling like they actually learned something rather than just watched a demonstration. The studio runs social dancing on weekends so students have somewhere to practice between classes.
