Take your first steps into whitewater kayaking with ACA-certified instructors who teach ferry angles, eddy turns, peel-outs, and reading whitewater features in a pool session followed by a guided run on an appropriate Class I-II section of the Potomac. The four-hour class includes all equipment, a safety briefing, and extensive on-water coaching from instructors who can adjust the curriculum to the group's pace. Prior flatwater paddling experience is recommended.
