Fullerton College Community Music's Thursday evening beginner guitar class covers tuning, essential open chord shapes, chord transitions, and basic strumming patterns using popular song examples to keep the pace engaging. The instructor provides acoustic guitars for students who do not have their own and gives everyone enough practice time to feel the chord transitions beginning to click. A printed chord chart goes home with you at the end.
