The People's Improv Theater on West 29th Street runs a Tuesday evening beginner improv workshop covering yes-and, listening, and the basics of building a scene with a partner. The PIT is one of New York's most active improv theaters with shows running seven nights a week, and the teaching faculty are working performers. No acting background or prior improv experience is needed.
