Multi-session beginning jewelry fabrication course at Metalworks SF. Students work on a complete silver piece across several weeks.
The Monday beginning fabrication class at Metalworks SF introduces students to the core techniques of bench jewelry making, including sawing, filing, soldering, and finishing sterling silver into wearable pieces. Each student works on their own project from the first session, and the instructor guides them through each technique as they encounter it in their piece rather than in isolation. Students leave each session having made tangible progress on a real piece of jewelry they will complete and keep.
