Oil and Cotton in the Bishop Arts District opens its Thursday evening pottery painting sessions to anyone who wants to paint a bisqueware piece with ceramic glazes and fire it to a finished gloss. The studio provides a full selection of bisqueware shapes from mugs and plates to decorative figures, and artists walk the room offering technique tips throughout. Finished pieces are kiln-fired and ready to pick up in a few days.
