This six-week series introduces the three primary hand-building methods in ceramics: pinch, coil, and slab construction, which together open up a wide range of sculptural and functional possibilities. Each class focuses on a different technique and guides students through creating a finished piece using that method, with all materials and firings included. By the end of the course students will have created multiple pieces and developed a strong understanding of clay's possibilities. This is a multi-session course.
