Intro to Metalsmithing

This beginner session introduces the fundamental skills of jewelry metalsmithing including sawing, filing, and soldering sterling silver, walking students through the process of making a simple ring or pendant from raw sheet metal. The instructor demonstrates each technique before students work at individual benches with proper tools and safety equipment provided. No prior experience is needed, and every student finishes the session with a completed piece of jewelry.
