This class covers the core positions, escapes, and submissions of Brazilian jiu-jitsu that form the base of all grappling sports, taught at a methodical pace with plenty of drilling and positional sparring. Students learn how to move efficiently on the ground, apply basic leverage-based techniques, and navigate common situations like being mounted or in someone's guard. A three-class trial is available for new students to experience the training before committing to a membership.
