Cliffs of Id in Echo Park is an indoor bouldering gym that offers a Tuesday beginner orientation class covering movement fundamentals, route-reading, and safe falling technique on problems up to V2 difficulty. An instructor demonstrates footwork and body positioning on the wall and then climbs alongside students to give real-time feedback. Rental shoes and chalk are available at the desk and no prior climbing experience is needed.
