Build three-dimensional ceramic forms without the wheel by learning coil building and slab rolling techniques that open up sculptural possibilities the wheel cannot achieve. The instructor demonstrates how to join coils without visible seams and how to roll consistent slab thickness before you build a small box and a coil vase during the session. Both pieces are bisque fired and you return the following week to glaze them.
