Social Dance Party

About this class

The weekly social party is a two-hour open practice floor with a DJ playing a mix of swing, salsa, bachata, and ballroom styles, plus a short group lesson at the start to give everyone something new to work on. Instructors stay on the floor throughout the event to give pointers and demonstrate moves, making it far more educational than a typical social dance night. Attending one of these parties alongside regular classes dramatically speeds up how quickly you get comfortable leading or following with a stranger.
