iO Theater's drop-in sessions are a three-hour class led by a working improv instructor who builds each session around a specific concept or skill, so you leave with something concrete rather than just going through warm-up games. The room tends to mix complete newcomers with current iO students, which creates a more dynamic experience than a room full of people at the same level. Drop-ins do not require registering for a full term.
