The Honolulu Museum of Art School has offered ceramics instruction for nearly 100 years and this hand-building course continues that tradition with techniques including pinching, coiling, and slab construction to create functional and sculptural ceramic pieces. Classes meet in the Art School's studio facilities on the museum grounds and are taught by practicing artists with deep roots in Hawaii's ceramics community. Summer session runs July through September and registration opens in May.
